Background
Jonathan has been with the firm since 2009. Jonathan’s practice focuses on real estate, banking, finance, and business law matters. Jonathan has extensive experience representing individual clients, financial institutions, businesses, developers, and non-profit organizations in matters related to the acquisition and sale of real property, development, real estate financings, commercial leasing, loan workouts and restructurings, bankruptcy, and the acquisition and sale of distressed assets. Jonathan also counsels businesses and individuals in connection with entity formation, business financings, mergers & acquisitions and other general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan served for 5 years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. During his time with the Attorney General’s Office, Jonathan represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its agencies in civil and criminal matters before the Massachusetts Trial Courts, Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Appeals Court for the First Circuit.
